UPDATED 2/1: Operational Status of Michigan Public Universities in Response to COVID-19

University Campus Operations Sites	COVID Dashboard Site	Winter 2022 Semester Operations	General Vaccine or Testing Requirements
Central	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff on main campus must be boosted by 1/17 or when eligible OR be tested once a week.
Eastern	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	Students living on campus must be fully vaccinated. Medical and religious exemptions apply. All other students on campus must be fully vaccinated OR be tested once a week.
Ferris	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students living on-campus will be tested upon move in.
Grand Valley	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students and employees must be vaccinated. Medical and religious exemptions apply.
Lake Superior	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	None while the federal mandate for employees is paused.
Michigan State	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff must be boosted by 2/1 or 14 days after when eligible, except for fully remote students. Medical and religious exemptions apply.
Michigan Tech	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	None while the federal mandate for employees is paused.
Northern	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	No vaccination requirement; weekly random testing for both vaccinated and unvaccinated.
Oakland	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff must be vaccinated. Medical and religious exemptions apply, and exempted individuals will have frequent testing.
Saginaw Valley	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff must be vaccinated OR be tested once a week.
UM-Ann Arbor	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff must be boosted by 2/4 or as soon as eligible thereafter. Medical and religious exemptions apply, and exempted individuals will be tested once a week. Residential students must be tested upon return to campus in January.
UM-Dearborn	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff must be boosted by 2/4 or as soon as eligible thereafter. Medical and religious exemptions apply, and exempted individuals will be tested once a week.
UM-Flint	Notifications	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff must be boosted by 2/4 or as soon as eligible thereafter. Medical and religious exemptions apply, and exempted individuals will be tested once a week. Residential students must be tested upon return to campus in January.
Wayne State	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff must be boosted by 1/3 or as soon as eligible thereafter, except for fully remote students. Medical and religious exemptions apply, and exempted individuals will be tested once a week.
Western	Dashboard	In person as scheduled.	All students, faculty, and staff who are not vaccinated will be tested once a week.
